Your words here come together so beautifully,in a picture so sharp; it feels as though I am transported back in time to stand there in the kitchen and watch you. I can even hear the sounds of the bottle, the glass, the ice, the swallow, and maybe even a tick of a clock. I admire your accomplishment. It is interesting ones with this problem all seem to stand at the kitchen counter and drink their selves silly or unconcious.

Seeing the tribulations my dad went through with his drinking before he was saved kept me off the stuff as I was growing up. However I did have some bad habbits. I lusted for power, money, and what it could buy me.

I was one of the youngest corporate xecutives with a retail giant at the time. I had it all plus I started up my own professional racing operation. One big problem I was not happy becuse I wanted more. Sorta like some one with a drug habit. Never enough, always looking for a new high.

Finding Christ really changed all that. I am glad it did for you too. Amazing how your values change with the Grace of the Lord leading you.photogrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05149737419546300220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2257114463060999037.post-24103641698485677072009-10-24T17:35:30.267-04:002009-10-24T17:35:30.267-04:00GLORY!GLORY!TeVeThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00662864101551905316noreply@blogger.com
